The machine that prints their catalog.
Murayama · Plant nursery · Buenos Aires, since 1940
The context
To launch their packaged seeds line they needed dozens of packets with data, barcodes and illustrations — a manual design job, packet by packet, impossible to scale.
The system
A system that takes the designer's die-cut template and one spreadsheet row per variety, and outputs print-ready PDFs: auto-fitted typography, real barcodes, a QR to the site and AI-generated botanical illustration with a locked brand style. The same system feeds the web catalog images.
In numbers
- 54 print-ready packets in a single run
- AI botanical illustration with a locked brand style
- The physical packaging and the web catalog come from the same system
- Run by the nursery's own team, no designer in the loop
